Behind Upanisad there are these faces!

Nice to have you here, we are Maria and Nicola, two young elderly people who really enjoy traveling around the world. Upanisad is the result of this passion.

After several trips to India and Nepal, Nicola was struck not only by the beauty of the landscapes, by the chaos of cities inhabited by millions of inhabitants, by the silence during the climbing route of the Himalayan mountain but also by the charm of the craftsmanship of the artisans.

Upanisad was born in 2002 as a place to bring together all the beauties of craftsmanship discovered on those trips and brought to Trani. From furniture to objects, from clothing to accessories, in Upanisad you can find many productions by those artisans you know personally.

Then there were trips to Morocco and Turkey which brought other productions and then, in 2012, I (Maria) arrived to add a little feminine touch.
