In the Tantra Sara, one of the most important Tantric texts, it is written that "the human body is an island of 9 gems" and these 9 gems are related to the 9 Dhatus, which are the parts into which our body can be divided.

All Navaratna jewelry and ornaments are considered by ancient Indian tradition to be bearers of good fortune and capable of warding off negative energies, protecting the wearer from all danger.
The gems of the Navaratna are, starting from the center and clockwise:

Ruby, which is always central and represents the Sun, gives energy, strength, and determination
Diamond : Venus, gives serenity and concentration, useful against emotional fragility
Pearl: Moon, can give strength and support to the heart
Red Coral: Mars, can ward off and treat diseases and improve memory
Hessonite (a variety of Garnet): RAHU the ascending lunar node, protects against poisonous substances and evil spirits
Blue Sapphire: Saturn, improves intuition and increases devotion
Cat's Eye: KETU the descending lunar node, alleviates psychic tension and eliminates fears
Yellow Sapphire: Jupiter, is used for practical and energetic purposes
Emerald: Mercury, antidote for stomach problems, stings and bites from animals and insects
