Kiss hand

The "baciamano", the ring bracelet, has ancient origins. It derives from eastern traditions and was used by women to indicate their social status and the position they held within society. The "hand kiss" was also often a sign of amorous courtship and was part of an ancient set of jewels that Indian brides wore on their wedding day, as well as toe rings, anklets and bracelets.
